Test D: One Headlight Does Not Move

  1. Take out the pop-up motor relay from the engine compartment relay box. See Figure .
  2. Check for continuity between terminals under the conditions described in the illustration. See Fig 1 .

  3. Test pop-up motor. Rotate the manual knob of the pop-up motor clockwise by hand to check continuity between terminals. See Fig 2 .

POP-UP MOTOR CONTINUITY

Terminal (1) Continuity Range
When the (+) terminal of the ohmmeter is connected to 1 and the (-) terminal is connected to 2 B
When the (+) terminal of the ohmmeter is connected to the 1 and the (-) terminal is connected to 5 A
