Control Unit

Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is located under center of dash, behind center console. See Fig 1 . ECU receives input voltage signals from a variety of input devices. The ECU compares each of the voltage input signals to a preset parameter which is programmed into the ECU. The ECU instantly analyzes each of the input voltage signals and adjusts output voltage signals accordingly. This allows for lower emissions while maintaining fuel economy and driveability.

NOTE: The following components are grouped into 2 categories: INPUT DEVICES and OUTPUT SIGNALS. INPUT DEVICES control or produce voltage signals monitored by the ECU. OUTPUT SIGNALS are controlled by the ECU.
