Section 17 (Axle Shafts - Front): Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1993 Plymouth Laser and 1993 Eagle Talon. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The axle shafts use a Birfield-type outer joint and a Tripod-type inner joint. The axle shafts are splined to the wheel hub and secured by a spindle nut. The axle shafts are splined into the transaxle and retained by a circlip.
