Road Test: Notes
- Operate A/T in all gear ranges while checking for slippage and shift variations. Note when shifts are harsh, spongy, delayed, early or if downshifts are sensitive.
- Check closely for engine flare during shifts. Engine flare usually indicates clutch, band or overrunning clutch malfunctions.
