Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

The TPS is mounted on throttle body and is connected to throttle valve shaft. The TPS is a variable resistor representing throttle valve position. Input voltage to the ECU from the TPS varies from one volt (closed throttle) to 4.5 volts (wide open throttle).
