V6 Engine Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Align dolly legs and wheels with marks on floor made during removal. Lower vehicle onto engine assembly. Stop when vehicle just touches cradle bolt pads. Position cradle with spacer between body and washer.
  2. Apply light coat of 30W engine oil to fuel lines prior to installation. Install fuel lines until a "click" sound is heard. Ensure lines are locked in place. Adjust all control cables.
  3. Fill cooling system. To bleed air from cooling system, place hose on bleed valve located on thermostat housing. Place hose in container and open bleed valve while filling cooling system. Close bleed valve once steady stream exists. Fill cooling system to proper level.
