Fuel Injector: Installation
- Install new "O" rings. Install alignment ring around injector. Install locating alignment washer to bottom of injector. Tab on top of washer fits into hole in bottom of injector. Tab on bottom side of washer fits into a slot in injector bore.
- Position injector, alignment ring and spacer ring above throttle body bore. Align tab on bottom of spacer washer with slot in throttle body bore. Install components into bore using pliers. Grasp wedge of injector and push down until injector seats. Ensure injector cannot rotate in bore. Install hold-down plate.
- Connect injector electrical connector and negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch to "ON" position and check for leaks. Install air cleaner.
