Fuel Injector: Removal
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove fuel tank filler cap to relieve fuel tank pressure. Reinstall filler cap. Remove air cleaner and injector wiring connector. Remove injector hold-down plate.
- Using small pliers, carefully grasp center collar of injector between electrical terminals and carefully remove injector with lifting-twisting motion. Discard both "O" rings. Remove plastic alignment ring from injector. See Figure .
