Cruise Control Module

Control module adjustments are preset by the manufacturer. However, if all other components of the system appear to be functioning normally and cruise control remains inoperative, perform following adjustment to determine if control module is functional.

NOTE: Potentiometers are very delicate. Insert screwdriver into slots very carefully. Do not push hard or turn hard against wiper arm stops. Potentiometer wiper arms have a maximum turning angle of 3/4 turn.

Turn centering adjustment to 10 o'clock position. See Figure . If adjustments have no effect on cruise control, replace cruise control module.
