Were loose connections found on the Body Computer or the power steering control module?
Yes
- Restore the correct connections.
No
- Go to the appropriate service information .
- Check for loose connections on the Body Computer or on the electric steering control module.
- BODY COMPUTER WIRING CHECK
- Disconnect/reconnect the Body Computer connectors and check for loose pins.
Are there loose pins?
Yes
- Restore the connector to the correct working order.
No
- Go to the appropriate service information .
- Disconnect/reconnect the Body Computer connectors and check for loose pins.
- ELECTRIC STEERING CONTROL MODULE WIRING CHECK
- Disconnect/reconnect the electric steering control module connectors and check for loose pins.
Are there loose pins?
Yes
- Restore the connector to the correct working order.
No
- Go to the appropriate service information .
- Disconnect/reconnect the electric steering control module connectors and check for loose pins.
- BODY COMPUTER WIRING CHECK
- Check that the Body Computer power supply is correct.
Was an incorrect power supply found on the Body Computer?
Yes
- Restore the correct power supply.
No
- Go to the appropriate service information .
- Check that the Body Computer power supply is correct.
- ELECTRIC STEERING CONTROL MODULE WIRING CHECK
- Check the electric steering control module power supply.
Was an incorrect power supply found on the electric steering control module?
Yes
- Restore the correct power supply.
No
- Go to the appropriate service information .
- Check the electric steering control module power supply.
- CHECK USING DIAGNOSTICS EQUIPMENT
- Connect the diagnosis equipment and check for absence of errors in the Body Computer.
Are there errors in the Body Computer?
Yes
- Replace the Body Computer.
No
- Go to the appropriate service information .
- Connect the diagnosis equipment and check for absence of errors in the Body Computer.
- CHECK USING DIAGNOSTICS EQUIPMENT
- Connect the diagnosis equipment and check for absence errors in the electric steering control module.
Are there errors in the electric power steering control module?
Yes
- Replace the electric steering control module.
No
- End of diagnostics.
- Connect the diagnosis equipment and check for absence errors in the electric steering control module.
