Sensor, Knock: Installation: 6.2L
CAUTION:
Over or under tightening the knock sensor mounting bolts will affect knock sensor performance, possibly causing improper spark control.
- Install the knock sensor (1) onto the cylinder block.
- Tighten the bolt (2) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the knock sensor wire harness connector (5).
- Snap the heat shield (1) onto the knock sensor.
- Install the front skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
