Coil, Ignition: Removal: Left

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, REMOVAL .

  3. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the ignition coil.
  4. Remove the ignition coil mounting bolt (3).
  5. Pull the ignition coil (2) from cylinder head cover opening with a slight twisting action.
