Throttle Body: Installation
- Check the condition of the throttle body-to-intake manifold seal. The seal can be reused if not damaged.
- Clean the mating surfaces of the throttle body and intake manifold.
- Position the throttle body (2) to the intake manifold.
- Install the throttle body mounting bolts (1) and tighten in a criss-cross pattern sequence to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the electrical connector (4) to the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) (2) and secure the ETC harness to the clip (3) on the throttle body.
- Install the resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
