Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector before disconnecting the negative cable from the battery.
  2. Remove the trim from the right inner quarter panel to access the Park Assist Module (PAM) located between the inner and outer panels behind the right rear wheel house. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the three screws (1a) that secure the PAM (1b) within the body side.
  4. Disconnect the two wire harness connectors (2) from the PAM connector receptacles.
  5. Remove the PAM from the vehicle.
