Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove and discard the lower control arm pinch bolt (1).
  4. Using a pry bar, separate the lower control arm from the steering knuckle.

  5. Remove and discard the front lower control arm bolt (1).

  6. Remove and discard the rear lower control arm bolt (1).
  7. Remove the lower control arm from the vehicle.
