Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove drivers airbag. Refer to AIR BAG, DRIVER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
    NOTE:

    Straighten the front wheels, engage the first steering lock and remove the ignition key.

  3. Remove the protective ring (1), then remove the steering wheel nut (2a).
  4. Remove the steering wheel (2b).
