Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the steering wheel (1a) on the shaft, aligning the references (1a) on the steering wheel and on the steering column (1b).
  2. Install the steering wheel nut (2), and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Place the protective ring (3).
  4. Install drivers airbag. Refer to AIR BAG, DRIVER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
