The Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay is located in the engine compartment within the Power Distribution Center (PDC).

1. Loosen the two screws (2) and remove the power distribution center cover (1).
2. Remove the ASD relay from the PDC. Refer to FUSE - RELAY LOCATIONS AND TYPES, SPECIFICATIONS .
3. Check the condition of the relay terminals and power distribution center connector terminals for damage or corrosion. Repair if necessary before installing the relay.
4. Check for pin height (pin height should be the same for all terminals within the power distribution center connector). Repair if necessary before installing the relay.
