If necessary, inspect and replace the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) O-ring seal (1).

Install the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (1) to the clean air hose and rotate 1/4 turn to lock in place.

Connect and lock the IAT electrical connector (2).
Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
