Pipe, Exhaust CROSSUNDER: Installation

1. If removed, install the cross under pipe support bracket. Tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
2. Position the cross-under pipe (1) into its position between the catalytic converters.
3. Center the cross-under to the bracket. tighten the bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

4. Position new gasket (3) onto the catalytic converter flange (4).
5. Install the front flange mounting nuts. Tighten nuts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

6. Position new gasket (1) onto the catalytic converter flange.
7. Install the rear flange nuts (3). Tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
8. Install the cross-under support bolts. Tighten nuts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

9. Install the down pipe (1) onto the cross-under pipe. Tighten the nuts (3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
10. Install the down pipe isolator (2).
11. Check for clearance of the exhaust to body.
12. Lower the vehicle.
13. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
14. Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments.
