Sensor, Manifold Absolute Pressure (Map): Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine cover (1).

3. Disconnect the MAP sensor wire connector (1).

4. Rotate the MAP sensor (1) 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull the sensor straight up and out of the upper intake manifold.

5. The MAP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.
