CROSSMEMBER, Transmission: Removal

Manual Transmission

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Support the transmission with a suitable lifting device.
  3. Remove the mount fasteners (1).
  4. Remove the frame bolts (2) and remove the crossmember.

Automatic Transmission

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Support the transmission with a suitable lifting device.
