Cooling System: Engine: Thermostat: Installation: 6.2L

1. Position the thermostat (1) with the vent at the 12 o'clock position. Make sure that the gasket seal (2) is fully seated.

2. Install the thermostat housing and tighten the bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to 6.2L TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
3. Install the radiator hose (1) on the thermostat housing.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
5. Start and warm the engine. Check the cooling system for leaks. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM LEAKS  .
