Sensor, Air Temperature, Inlet: Removal: 3.6L
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover (1).
- Disconnect the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Clean any dirt from the air inlet tube at the IAT sensor base.
- Gently lift the small plastic release tab (3), rotate the sensor about 1/4 turn counterclockwise and remove the sensor from the inlet air hose.
- The IAT sensor O-ring (2) can be reused if not damaged.
