Seal, Differential: Installation: Left

Clean the halfshaft seal bores.
Install the NEW seal (1) using (special tool #C-3995-A, Installer, Seal) (2), and (special tool #C-4171, Driver Handle, Universal) (3).
Tap the seal into position until firmly seated against the transmission case.
Install the halfshaft. Refer to INSTALLATION .
Check transmission fluid level and adjust as necessary. Refer to FLUID, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
