Cables, Battery: Installation

  1. Position the battery cable in the vehicle.
  2. Install the bolt (2) that secures the cable to the body. Tighten to 12 N.m (106 in. lbs.).
  3. If removed, position the clamp (1) to the negative battery cable. Tighten the nut (3) to 6 N.m (53 in. lbs.).
  4. Connect the negative battery cable on the battery terminals.
