Radiator, Engine Cooling: Installation: 3.6L

  1. Install the radiator into the engine compartment and seat the lower rubber isolators into the mounting holes of the lower radiator support.

  2. Position the condenser on the radiator and loosely install the right side upper bolt. Tighten the bolt to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the lower condenser mounting bolts and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the bolt (2) located between the cooler lines and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  5. Install the radiator isolator (1) and tighten the bolts (3) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Install the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
  7. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  8. Install the lower radiator hose (1).

  9. Install the belly pan and tighten the bolts (1) securely.
  10. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  11. Install the cooling fan. Refer to FAN, COOLING, INSTALLATION .
  12. Install the upper radiator upper hose.
  13. Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  14. Connect the negative battle cable.
  15. Operate the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Check the cooling system and automatic transmission for the correct fluid levels.
