    NOTE:

The power steering hydraulic system bleeds automatically while the engine is running. The flow of fluid in the hydraulic system causes the level in the reservoir to go down. After a service procedure has been carried out, a small amount of air may remain in the system. A small amount of air does not have any negative repercussions as the system continues to be bled while driving. To manually bleed the hydraulic system:

    • Start the engine 3 times and stop each time after 5 seconds.
    • Pause briefly between each start.
    • Start up the engine, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock 5 times, then turn the off the engine.
    • Add fluid as necessary, top up the hydraulic system with the prescribed oil.
  14. Inspect for leaks.
