Sensor, Coolant Temperature: Installation: Installation

1. Apply MOPAR® thread sealant with PFTE to sensor threads.
2. Install the coolant temperature sensor (1) into the cylinder head and tighten to 27 N.m (20 ft. lbs.).
3. Connect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector.
4. Remove support and lower the vehicle.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM AIR EVACUATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
