Injector(S), Fuel: Installation

  1. Lightly lubricate new O-ring seals (1) with engine oil and install on the fuel injector (2).

    NOTE:

    Number 2 fuel injector installation shown, all other fuel injectors similar.

  2. Install the fuel injectors (1) to the fuel rail (2).

  3. Install the fuel rail, upper inlet manifold and air inlet hose. Refer to RAIL, FUEL, INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
  5. Start the engine and check for leaks.
