2.4L Engine

1 - WATER PUMP
2 - MOUNTING BOLT
3 - WATER INLET TUBE NUTS
4 - INLET WATER TUBE
  1. Remove the serpentine drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL, 2.4L  .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the splash shield.
  4. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING  .
  5. Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley.
  6. Remove the bolts (3) and the water pump (2).
