Sensor, Speed, Transfer Shaft: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal at the battery post.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle, refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove left front wheel, refer to REMOVAL .

  4. Unplug the electrical connector at the transfer shaft speed sensor (1).

  5. Remove the bolt at transfer shaft speed sensor (1).
  6. Pull up on transfer shaft speed sensor to remove.
