Tube, Water Inlet: Installation

1 - NUTS

2 - WATER PUMP INLET TUBE

3 - WATER PUMP HOUSING

Inspect the O-ring for damage before installing the tube. Replace the O-ring as necessary.
Lubricate O-rings with soapy water.
Install a NEW water inlet gasket between tube and water pump housing (2).
Position the water pump inlet tube (3) onto the water pump housing (2). Hand tighten nuts to aide in tube alignment.
Install the secondary thermostat and the coolant adapter. Refer to THERMOSTAT, INSTALLATION .
Tighten the coolant inlet tube nuts (1) to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
Fill the cooling system. Refer to ADDING ADDITIONAL COOLANT .
