Sensor, Crankshaft Position: Description

The crankshaft position sensor is located in the passengers side of the engine block, below the exhaust manifold at the center of the engine. A heat shield is used to protect the electrical connector and the sensor from the extreme temperatures generated from the engine and exhaust system.
