Battery (Service Information): Battery: Removal

1. Make sure ignition switch is in OFF position and all accessories are turned OFF.
2. Open the vehicle trunk.
3. Remove the battery cover.
4. Disconnect the battery negative side sensor (3) from the battery post.

5. Disconnect the battery positive cable (1) from the battery.

6. Remove the battery hold down clamps (3).
7. Disconnect the vent tube from the battery.
8. Remove the battery (2) from the vehicle.
