WARNING:
To avoid serious or fatal injury on vehicles equipped with airbags, disable the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, airbag, Occupant Classification System (OCS), seat belt tensioner, impact sensor or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. - Disconnect the seat wire harness connector (4) from the STPS.
- Remove the screw (1) that secures the STPS mounting boss to the bracket.
- Using a small screwdriver, depress the STPS latch feature (2) and pull the STPS out of the bracket.
