Fan, Cooling: Removal: 3.6L

  1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the return hose (1).
  4. Remove the coolant recovery container (3) and position aside.

  5. Remove the front bumper fascia (1). Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .

  6. Remove the upper close out panel (2) and position aside.

  7. Remove upper radiator hose (3) and position aside.

  8. Disconnect the wiring harness to the cooling fan relays (1), the resistors (2) and the cooling fan motors (3).

  9. Separate the wiring harness (1) from the cooling fan shroud.

  10. Remove the radiator fan (3) by pressing the retaining clips (2) in and lifting upwards to release from mounts.
