Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove the intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, REMOVAL .
Disconnect the knock sensors electrical connectors (3) and (4).

NOTE:
Mark the orientation of the knock sensors prior to removal.
Remove the knock sensors mounting bolts (1).
Remove the knock sensors (2) from the engine block (3).
