Sensor, Accelerator Pedal Position: Installation: Installation

CAUTION:

The accelerator pedal and mounting nuts need to be torque in a mandatory torque sequence or damage could result to the pedal assembly.

  1. Install the accelerator pedal. Using the tightening sequence shown in illustration, tighten nuts to 16 N.m (142 in. lbs.).

  2. Connect the accelerator pedal harness connector (1).
  3. Connect negative battery cable.
