Sensor, Crankshaft Position: Installation: Installation

CAUTION:

Before tightening the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP)sensor mounting bolt, be sure the sensor is completely flush to the cylinder block. If the CKP sensor is not flush, damage to the sensor mounting tang may result.

  1. Install Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) sensor (4). Tighten bolt (3) to 11 N.m (97 in. lbs.).

  2. Install CKP access cover (1). Tighten bolts (2) to 15 N.m (133 in. lbs.).
  3. Connect CKP wire harness connector (3).

  4. Install the lower torque strut.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
