Steering System: Pump: Removal: 5.7L

  1. Siphon power steering reservoir.
  2. Remove the air cleaner body, refer to AIR INTAKE SYSTEM or AIR INTAKE SYSTEM .
  3. Remove the serpentine drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the supply hose (3) and the pressure line (4) at the power steering pump (1).
  5. Using the holes in the pulley for access, remove the three pump mounting bolts (5).
  6. Remove and transfer any necessary components.
