1 - M8 FASTENERS (APPLY THREAD SEALANT)

2 - M10 FASTENERS

3 - M6 FASTENERS

4 - M10 FASTENERS (STUD/NUT)

Position water pump and new gasket.
Install water pump mounting bolts. Tighten to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
Install engine timing belt. Refer to Engine/Valve Timing/SPROCKET(S), Timing Belt and Chain - Installation
Install accessory drive bracket. Tighten bolts to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
Position A/C compressor and install A/C compressor mounting nuts. Tighten nuts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
Lower engine and install RH engine mount through bolt. Tighten bolt to 54 N.m (40 lbs. ft.).
Install accessory drive belt. See Cooling/Accessory Drive/BELT, Serpentine - Installation .
Install viscous radiator fan. See Cooling/Engine/FAN, Cooling - Installation .
Install coolant recover container. See Cooling/Engine/BOTTLE, Coolant Recovery - Installation .
Install air filter assembly. Refer to Engine/Air Intake System/BODY, Air Cleaner - Installation .
Connect negative battery cable.
Evacuate air and refill cooling system. See Cooling/Engine/PUMP, Water - Standard Procedure
Check cooling system for leaks. See Cooling - Diagnosis and Testing
