RADIATOR, Engine Cooling: Installation: Radiator

  1. Install the radiator into the rubber grommets by first angling the left hand side downward and moving towards the right hand side of the radiator until the radiator tabs are fully seated.
  2. Install the intercooler (5) (if equipped) to the radiator using bolts (7).
  3. Install the A/C condenser to the radiator and intercooler (5) (if equipped) by first angling the left hand side downward and then moving towards the right hand side until fully seated.
  4. Install charge air hoses (2) and (10) to both sides of intercooler (5) (if equipped).
  5. Install the radiator hose to the bottom right of the radiator.
  6. Install the transmission cooler lines.

  7. Install the radiator fan shroud (2).
  8. Install the radiator fan. See Installation 
  9. Install the A/C condenser fan. Refer to Heating and Air Conditioning/Plumbing/FAN, A/C Condenser - Installation
  10. Connect the coolant level sensor electrical connector.
  11. Connect the coolant hoses to the coolant reservoir, radiator and the water pump.
  12. Install the intake air housing. Refer to Engine/Air Intake System/AIR CLEANER - Installation
  13. Install the front bumper. Refer to Frame and Bumpers/Bumpers/BUMPER, Front - Installation
  14. Install the grille. Refer to Body/Exterior/GRILLE - Installation
  15. Refill the power steering to the proper level.
  16. Refill the transmission to proper level.
  17. Close the radiator drain plug and refill the cooling system. See Standard Procedure  .
  18. Recharge air conditioning if required. Refer to Heating and Air Conditioning/Plumbing - Standard Procedure
  19. Run the engine until warm and check for any leaks.
