Event 2809-Fault Present In Transmission Control Module: Notes

For complete wiring diagrams, refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS .

• When Monitored: 

  Ignition on and battery voltage greater than 10 volts.

• Set Condition: 

  An active DTC is stored in the Transmission Control Module. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to  DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Transmission Control (TCM) - Standard Procedure  .
