Throttle Body: Installation: 5.7L

Check condition of throttle body O-ring (1) and replace as necessary.
Clean mating surfaces of throttle body and intake manifold.

Position throttle body in place
Install throttle body mounting bolts.
CAUTION: The throttle body mounting bolts MUST be tightened to specifications. Over tightening can cause damage to the throttle body or the intake manifold.
Tighten mounting bolts to 5.6 N.m (50 in. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
Install electrical connector (2).
Install air plenum to flange (3).
Connect negative battery cable.
Using the diagnostic scan tool, perform the ETC Relearn function.
