Clean mating surfaces of water pump housing and engine block as necessary.
Place new O-ring in groove in water pump housing. Install water pump and retaining bolts. Torque bolts to 24 N.m (212 in. lbs.).
Install the water pump torque the water pump bolts to 32 Nm (23 ft. lbs.)

Install the inner front cover.

Install the timing belt.

Install the outer front cover (2).
Install the crankshaft damper (1).

Install the upper front cover.
Install the lifting bracket.
Install the fan. See INSTALLATION .
Refill cooling system. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Connect negative battery cable.
