Body & Frame: Windows: Interior/Exterior: DECKLID/Liftgate: Liftgate: Installation

  1. With the help of an assistant, install liftgate onto vehicle. See Figure
  2. Fasten liftgate to sport bar hinge using liftgate nuts. Do not tighten at this time. See Figure
  3. Connect gas prop to stabilizer studs. (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/HATCH/LIFTGATE/TAILGATE/GAS PROP - INSTALLATION) . See Figure
  4. Align liftgate nuts with scribe marks. Tighten nuts.
  5. Connect defroster connectors and liftgate harness clip, and harness. See Figure
  6. Replace B-pillar trim.
