Body & Frame: Windows: Interior/Exterior: DECKLID/Liftgate: Latch: Installation

  1. Position latch to vehicle.
  2. Loosely install bolts attaching latch to decklid.
  3. Using previously made marks, align decklid latch to outline on decklid.
  4. Tighten bolts attaching decklid latch to decklid to 12 N.m (9 ft. lbs.).
  5. Install the lock cylinder bracket and install the three screws.
  6. Verify decklid operation and alignment and adjust if necessary. (Refer to BODY/BODY STRUCTURE/GAP AND FLUSH - SPECIFICATIONS)
