1. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the upper rear headliner trim.
2. For the upper lift gate adjustments, loosen the six hinge to header bolts (1) and adjust to specifications (Refer to BODY/BODY STRUCTURE/GAP AND FLUSH - SPECIFICATIONS) 
3. Tighten the hinge bolts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).

4. Open the load floor, remove the scuff plate screws and remove liftgate trim scuff plate.
5. For the lower lift gate adjustments, loosen the striker screws (1) and adjust to specifications (Refer to BODY/BODY STRUCTURE/GAP AND FLUSH - SPECIFICATIONS) 
6. Tighten the striker screws to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the liftgate trim scuff plate and install the screws.
8. Position the upper rear headliner trim and seat fully.
