Zone Method
- Using the Variance Settings map, find your geographic location and note the zone number. See Fig 1.

- Turn the ignition switch to the On position. Press and hold the Zone/Calibration (left reading lamp button) button for 5 to 10 seconds. The Zone symbol should be illuminated.
- Releasing the Zone /Calibration button while the ZONE symbol is illuminated will cause the mirror to enter the zone display mode.
- The current variance zone will now be displayed. To change the zone, press the Zone/Calibration button until the correct zone is displayed. Wait for 5 seconds.
- After five seconds, the displayed zone will automatically be set in the mirror memory and normal operation will resume.
- Confirm that the correct directions are now indicated by the compass.
